There is strength in diversity. That is one of the core tenets of the Florida Justice Center and it is embraced by every employee, board member, and volunteer. At the annual board of directors meeting on December 12, 2020, FLJC’s board elected its most diverse and skilled Executive Committee to date. With a commitment to growing the organization through development of programs, fundraising, and building community partnerships, the FLJC is poised to become a powerhouse for legal, social, and mental health services in Florida.
The following board members were elected to Executive Committee roles:
Chairperson: Jessenia Rosales, Esq.
Vice-Chairperson: Dr. Richard Louis
Treasurer: Marie Torossian, CPA
Secretary: Karl Viñola
The FLJC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing individuals with connections to defense attorneys and services to reduce their likelihood of future involvement in the justice system. With pro bono attorneys, bail assistance, access to social services, and educational training as the pillars of the ground-breaking organization, the FLJC team hopes that its success grows with each additional supporter.
