Case Management Intern
Halle Mayne is a case management intern at Florida Justice Center. Her focus is on social justice and aims to pursue a career where she can make a difference in the justice system.
She got her bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Florida Atlantic University in 2018, and is currently a master’s student in FAU’s Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program. She aims to advocate for women and the LGBTQ+ community because she sees they are the most vulnerable in society and need representation.
She worked as a graduate research assistant for FAU’s Center of Holocaust and Human Rights Education, where she learned education is the best fight against hatred. Before this, she worked as a legal assistant and office clerk where she became acquainted with the legal system and family law.
In her spare time, she likes to read, coach volleyball, and bake. She also enjoys spending time with her cats and keeping up to date on current events.
