Florida Justice Center to Host Livestream Event for Give Miami Day
Legal Aid organization hosts 12-hour livestream telethon to build awareness for justice-related issues and raise funds.
Miami, FL (November 15, 2021) –
Florida Justice Center is hosting dozens of guests on a high-profile livestream event this Thursday from 9AM to 9PM broadcast from CIC Miami. With thousands of people tuning in on FLJC.org, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, this will be an event to remember.
This 12-hour virtual event will feature on-location reports from a variety of famous Miami landmarks, testimonials from former clients and returning citizens, updates on proposed criminal justice legislation, information about higher education in prison, discussions about the legalization of marijuana, a retrospective on the George Floyd movement, conversations with prominent Miami leaders, and more! You’ll even hear from one of Florida Justice Center’s clients who was arrested in Miami Beach for recording the police.
